Micro-Sprint Roundtable Discussion at Reading Racing Reunion this Wednesday...
This Wednesday, February 25, there will be an all-star panel discussing several topics related to Micro-Sprint racing at the Reading Racing Reunion.
Held at the Fairgrounds Square Mall in Muhlenberg Township (the site of the former Reading Fairgrounds race track), the week-long Racing Reunion boasts more than 100 racecars of various types. There are also nightly interviews with current and former drivers, and now the mighty Micro-Sprints will be spotlighted by this informative discussion on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

Making up the panel will be Hyper Racing's Mike Dicely; representing RTS Chassis will be Richie Hartman; former Micro-Sprint competitor and now wingless warrior with ARDC, Brett Arndt; and the recently named Race Director for the Kutztown Fairgrounds, Pete Knappenberger.
The forum will be moderated by Knappenberger and Barry Angstadt, and the whole thing is being presented by the Racer's Roundtable radio show, of which Knappenberger is the founder and co-host.

Some of the topics to be discussed include: wings vs. wingless racing; the current and future state of the 270's; the slumping economy's effect on Micro-Sprint racing; the 600's on asphalt; what happens when the 636cc engines become extinct in 2012; and much more.

All Micro-Sprint competitors and fans are encouraged to attend this roundtable discussion. It will begin at 7 p.m.
The organizers are hoping to have a wireless microphone available, so that racers and fans in the audience will be able to ask questions of those on the panel. In lieu of a wireless mic, there will be someone in the audience to write down questions and pass them to the panel.
NOTE: there will also be driver interviews held at the same time in another area of the mall...as soon as the exact location of the roundtable forum is known, it will be posted on websites such as microracing.com, lancomicrosprint.com, and PitSideRacing.com.

It's gonna be fun, and (hopefully), it's gonna be very informative! Come on out to see the racecars and find out what's happening in the world of Micro-Sprint racing this Wednesday at the Reading Racing Reunion!

Racer's Roundtable can be heard every Sunday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., on WXLV 90.3 FM. You can also listen online, at www.wxlv.org. We talk about small car racing of all types from 6:20 to 6:45.
