Two Modified Feature This Week at New Egypt

New Egypt, NJ (May 12, 2008)- With the recent weather issues being
less than ideal, the New Egypt Speedway will be shuffling around it's
schedule for the next few weeks. Events from Saturday, May 3 will be
made up during the upcoming four weeks of racing.

Cray Electric will be sponsoring this coming Saturday's (May 17)
annual Mr. Super Stock Classic, which will see the division's best
racing 25 laps with a cool $1,000 going to the winner. Allentown,
NJ's Mick Search is the defending Mr. Super Stock champion and
will have the likes of point leader Todd Cray, all-time feature
winner Billy Bauer, and defending track champion George Quinlan
trying to take the top prize.

Also on the racing card for no extra charge is the postponed 30-lap
Modified (plus B-man) feature from May 3 , which saw Stan
Frankenfield Jr., Billy Pauch, and Mike Hendershot take heat wins.
The SS Sprints will also pick up where they left off two weeks ago to
complete their feature and in addition will run their regulary
scheduled feature. There will be a full slate of racing as well on
Cray Electric Night as the Modifieds will run their regularly
scheduled 30-lapper along with the Sportsman, Super Stocks, SS
Sprints, Outlaw Stocks, and Rookies.

On May 24th, Joy Auto Parts will be sponsoring Medal of Honor Night.
Twin 20s for the Modifieds will headline the program with a full card
of Sportsman, Super Stocks, Crate-1, and Rookies. The A-1 Racing
Products Sportsman will also be making up their rained out event from
May 3.

The ARDC midgets will visit NES on May 31 along with a full racing
program, and then on Sat. June 7th the rained out Super Stock feature
from May 3 will be run in addition to the regular show.

Gates will open this Saturday at 4pm with the first green flag
waving at 5:30pm. Adult admission will be $18,
