New Egypt Speedway to host practice this Saturday

New Egypt, NJ April 6, 2009 - New Egypt Speedway will be opening its
doors on Saturday, April 11 for their annual free-to-the-public
practice session.  The practice is open to any and all divisions
wishing to shake down their equipment for the new season.  There are
many drivers, crews, and fans that are anxious to see the new layout
of the mile clay oval. 

The pit gates will open at 8am for safety tech and inspection for all
racecars.  Admission is $20 for the pits with or without a license.
Cars will take to the track at 11am with practice wrapping up around
4pm.  The practice is FREE to all spectators wishing to take in the
action from the grandstands. 

Track licenses, parking spots, and all the other important paperwork
for the drivers to fill out will be available in the office on
Saturday.  Pit Stop Tire Service will be on hand with freshly stocked
tires for all the divisions this upcoming season

Driving instructor/driver Billy Pauch and starter Terry Branson will
be on hand to give a mandatory Rookie driver's meeting Saturday
morning for all the 2009 Advantage Financial/Cradle Rock Developers
rookie class.  The meeting will be held to assist the drivers with on
track procedures and answer any questions that the first-time drivers
may have.

The following Saturday, April 18 NES will host the third leg of the
10-race Tri-Track Series.  Hamill Flooring will present the "Cabin
Fever 40" paying $3,000 for the big block modifieds along with the
Sportsman, Outlaw Stocks, and the Rookies on opening night.  Racing
