SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AS DIAMOND NATIONALS CONCLUDE SEASON AT BIG DIAMOND RACEWAY...

Forestville, PA – September 7, 2007 – Although the Big Diamond Raceway regular season has been completed, the month of September remains stacked with plenty of upcoming events.

In 2006, the new tri-promotional team developed the Diamond Nationals. This season, the Nationals are extended to a total of three racing dates. The conclusion wraps the season up on September 29 and 30, as seven different divisions will compete between the two days.

The Diamond Nationals actually begin on Sunday September 16 with the Little Car Nationals. The Xcel 600 Modifieds, Central PA Legends, and the high flying Four Cylinders will complete the card. Xcel and the Legends have already seen some ’07 BDR activity while the Four Cylinder are making their first appearance of the season. Warm-ups are scheduled for 5:45PM with the first heat going green at 6:15PM.

On Saturday September 29, four divisions will wage war on the three-eighth’s mile clay oval. Open Competition 358 Small Block Modifieds 40 Laps (Hagerstown Rules, 1-4 barrel carburetor, methanol or gas, no sail panels, no low skirting, open 92” tires), Winged Super Sportsman 25 Laps, Pro Stocks 20 Laps, and Roadrunners/Xtreme Stocks 20 Laps fill out the program. Tentative warm-up time is 6:00PM. Adult General Admission to the grandstands is $17. If this show were to be rained-out the Super Sportsman program would be rescheduled for the following day.

Sunday September 30 will spotlight a three division card. Scheduled to take part are: Big Block Modifieds 40 Laps (open 92” tires/2500 lbs, small blocks may run), Sportsman 25 Laps, and Limited Late Models 25 Laps. Tentative warm-up time is 5:00PM. General Admission to the stands is $17 for the Sunday program. Fans that attend the saturday portion of the show can save $2 off on Sunday by presenting Saturday's
rain check.
