THUNDER SERIES GEARS UP FOR 2009 SEASON FINALE. . . . . . . .
SPORTSMAN FIELD SET FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 GRANDVIEW THUNDER 5-25'S

The House of Thunder Halloween Party and the Grandview Thunder  5-25's
will close out the 2009 NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing
Series presented by Lee Myles at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night,
October 17.  Gates will open at 4 PM with race time set for 6 PM.  The
very popular season ending event will showcase five divisions of dirt
track racing to include the 358 Modifieds, URC Sprints, ARDC Wingless
Midgets, Rolling Thunder Legends and the first time appearance on the
Thunder program by the Sportsman.  Two add attractions for this event
will be the Garden State Vintage Stock Cars and the MONSTER Smash
Demolition Derby.

The Grandview Thunder 5-25's is a features  only format with no
qualifying.  The Ghostly Legends will open the program with their 25 lap
main event followed by the Monster Midget feature and the Spooky
Sportsman.  The 358 Nasty Modifieds and the URC Scary Sprints will close
out the racing program on the one-third mile oval.  The show will  close
with the Monster Smash Demo Derby.

For the Legends, ARDC Midgets, URC Sprints and 358 Modifieds, the field
was determined  by their current point standings.  For the sportsman,
since they don't compete weekly at Grandview and we have interest from
drivers from different tracks,  the field was determined by the order of
registration by the competitors.  The field is set at twenty cars at
this time.
