House of Thunder Halloween Party Approaching Quickly. . . ..
NUMEROUS STORY LINES TO UNFOLD AT NAPA AUTO PARTS THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES FINALE AT GRANDVIEW SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17

The ninety-first event of the popular NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the
Hill Racing Series presented by Lee Myles Transmissions will close out
their season at the Grandview Speedway on Saturday, October 17.   The
fans favorite event, the Grandview Thunder 5-25's and House of Thunder
Halloween Party will be  the attraction when the show begins at 6 PM.
The Grandview Thunder 5-25's will include the Nasty NASCAR Modifieds,
the Scary Sprints of URC,  the Monster Midgets of ARDC, the Ghostly
Legends and the Spooky Sportsman Stock Cars, each competing in a 25 lap
season finale feature event.     Added to the show will be the ARDC
Non-Winners Race, the Garden State Vintage Stock Car race and the night
cap, a MONSTER SMASH Demolition Derby.

It's no trick, but a real  treat to all fans is the reasonable  $20
adult general admission price,  that breaks-down to just $4 per 25 lap
feature.   Admission is just $5 for children 6-11, under 6  will be
admitted free.   The pit fee is $25 and a license is not required.
Gates to the House of Thunder will squeak open at 4 PM with the first of
five 25 lap features taking the green flag at 6 PM.    Come early, if
you dare and stay late as the MONSTER SMASH Demolition Derby will
eventually bring darkness to Grandview Speedway in 2009.

Spectators of all ages are invited to dress up for the Halloween Party
and prizes will be  awarded.   All spectators in Halloween costumes will
be invited to join in the victory lane photo at the end of the night
with the five different feature  winners.  Plenty of treats are in store
thanks to the R.M. Palmer Company of Reading, PA  and  Jim Gallagher of
COMDIAL Telephone Communications.      Of course, JOE the PIZZA Dude
will be present and Lee Myles Transmissions will spice up the show as
they always do.

October 17 Grandview Thunder Story Lines:
* Jeff Strunk and Mike Gular go down to the wire for the 2009
Thunder Series Title.   Gular trails Strunk by just twenty-one points.
* Six time URC Champion Curt Michael has yet to win a feature at
Grandview Speedway.  October 17 he'll have two chances as he is a
starter in the URC Sprint feature as well as the ARDC Wingless Midget

Hill feature win.  Pauch  Sr is a five time Thunder Champion and holds
