NAPA AUTO PARTS THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES GEARS UP FOR 410 SPRINTS & 358 MODIFIED TWINBILL TUESDAY NIGHT, JULY 3RD

The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series banner will fly over the Grandview Speedway on Tuesday night, July 3rd when the 410 Sprints & 358 Modifieds shine in this Summer Holiday twin bill.   Race time is set for 7:30 PM with gates opening at 5 PM.

A talented field of both 410 Sprint and Modified drivers are expected to gather on the “hill” on Tuesday night.    Sprint car time trials will be the  first order of business followed by heat race qualifying for both divisions, leading up to the $5,000 to win 35 lap 410 sprint car feature and the 25 lap BPG $3,000 to win 358 modified feature.

For the race fans, Vertical Wave Telephone Communications will give away $300 worth of gas cards as part of the pre-race fun.   Jim and Jonann Gallagher will also be sponsoring Joe the Pizza Dude in honor of the many volunteer fire-fighters and ask that you support your local volunteer fire-fighters.

An added attraction to the Tuesday night racing program  will be the Chad Miller Sweep for the Modifieds.   In memory of Chad Miller, Donnie, Patti and Chelsea Miller are posting $50 to the winner of each modified heat race.     The heat race winners will then run a 3 lap Dash for Cash that will pay $200 to the winner.   If the winner of the Dash goes on to win the feature, they will earn an additional $200.   A total of $450 will go the winner of the Chad Miller Sweep.    Those who knew Chad, truly understand  the special person is was, and his over-riding love for racing, family and friends.

This event will mark the  104th NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series.    410 sprint car drivers expected to be  on hand include Fred Rahmer, Lance Dewease, Daryn Pittman, Mark Smith, Brian Leppo, Greg Hodnett and Brian Montieth just to name a few.     Expected modified entries include Duane Howard, Craig VonDohren,  Jeff Strunk,  Rick Laubach, MeMe DeSantis, Ryan Godown,  Jimmy Horton and  Billy Pauch.

Race fans are invited to take part in the Inside/Out promotion.  At no additional charge, race fans may sign-up inside the front gate for the Inside/Out Promotion and you’ll get to watch warm-ups from fourth turn infield.   It’s a great way to watch hot laps and you’ll feel the ground rumble when the 410 sprints take the green flag.

Advance tickets may be reserved by calling 443 513 4456.    Please leave your name, phone number and the number of tickets you will need for Tuesday, July 3rd.   You may purchase and pick-up your tickets on race night at the Will Call Window after 4 PM.   Spectators holding advance tickets may enter the speedway at 4:30 PM, one-half hour prior to general admission tickets going on sale at 5 PM.
