NOTES:

**Andreas, a regular for several years at the Airport Speedway in New Castle, DE, led all the way in the 270cc main after starting on the pole. Nick Skias moved into the runner-up spot on lap four and stayed close to Andreas, pulling up to the leader's back bumper on numerous occasions before spinning in turn four with 21 circuits complete.

**Andreas earned $500 for the victory and second place finisher Richie Hartman, from Temple, picked up an $85 bonus for being the highest finishing driver who pre-registered for the event.

**Dave Grube entered his 125cc racer in the Sportsman portion of the program. Track officials, made up mostly of members of the Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society, permitted Grube to enter his 125cc Micro but after warm-ups, the Sportsman competitors relayed to the officials their belief that Grube would be slower than the Sportsman cars - and actually hold them up if he got a good starting spot and got out front early. It was decided to let him run, but he would be scored as if he were in a division by himself. Naturally, he won the race. The 125cc/ 250cc Four-Stroke Micro-Sprints will compete at the Reading Fair on Friday night, August 8.

**Mike Rutherford charged from tenth starting position to run in the fourth spot by lap 14. His flight to the front was soon halted, however, when the Lititz driver spun in turn four while challenging Richie Hartman for third with seven laps remaining. Rutherford did bounce back to finish sixth.

**Advancing the most positions in the 270cc main was Stevie Senn. Senn took the original green in 17th, then sliced his way forward to a seventh place finish.

**Zach Bealer appeared to have a car capable of running with Joel Smith in the Stage One Modified feature. Bealer started on the pole but gave up the top spot to Smith on the first trip around the speedway. Bealer closed up on the leader at the halfway point, then fell out of the race with mechanical ills just a few laps later.
